Eid Milad-un-Nabi ﷺ to Be Observed on September 6 in Pakistan

The Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee announced that the moon of Rabi-ul-Awwal was not sighted in Pakistan. As a result, the holy occasion of Eid Milad-un-Nabi ﷺ will be celebrated across the country on Friday, September 6.

Muslims around the world observe this day with great reverence, marking the birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. In Pakistan, preparations are already underway as cities and towns light up with decorations, banners, and green flags in honor of this sacred day.

Religious scholars emphasized the importance of following the teachings of the Prophet ﷺ, calling for unity, peace, and compassion in society. Large processions, Mehfil-e-Milad gatherings, and special prayers will be organized nationwide to celebrate the auspicious event.

Authorities have also assured that security arrangements will be in place to ensure smooth observance of the celebrations across the country.
