Alizeh Shah Opens Up About PTSD, Expresses Regret Over Joining Showbiz

(TASSAWAR NEWS) – Pakistani actress Alizeh Shah has made a shocking revelation about her struggles in the entertainment industry, disclosing that she has been diagnosed with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) due to the harsh treatment she faced during her career.

In a recent Instagram post, Alizeh shared that the long 12-hour work shifts and the toxic environment of the industry left her mentally broken. She admitted that the experiences not only damaged her self-esteem but also made her regret stepping into showbiz in the first place.

The actress clarified that she does not want projects or opportunities offered out of false sympathy. Instead, she simply wants to distance herself from the painful memories, which she says continue to haunt her.

Alizeh added that the constant criticism and misconceptions—that she exposed people in the industry to gain more work—have deeply hurt her. “I wish I had never been part of this humiliating world,” she remarked, expressing how the trauma still lingers and impacts her daily life.

It is worth mentioning that Alizeh had previously accused fellow actress Minsa Malik of slapping her during a drama shoot, which escalated into a confrontation. She later claimed Minsa attempted to defame her and even sent death threats, forcing Alizeh to file a defamation lawsuit.

PTSD is a serious mental health condition that develops after experiencing or witnessing trauma. Alizeh’s revelations have once again highlighted the darker side of the entertainment industry and its toll on artists’ mental well-being.
