Peshawar (TASSAWAR NEWS) – A young man from Peshawar, Pakistan has been arrested on charges of blackmailing and sexually harassing a minor American girl.
According to details, the FBI (Federal Bureau of Investigation) provided information to Pakistan’s FIA Cyber Crime Wing, revealing that a resident of Hayatabad, Peshawar was involved in harassing and blackmailing a girl living in Virginia, USA through her private photos.
Acting on this tip, the FIA Cyber Crime Wing conducted a raid in Hayatabad and arrested the suspect, identified as Inas Farooq, son of Farooq Ahmed. His mobile phone was also seized during the operation.
Suspect Confession
During interrogation, the accused confessed that he had illegally hacked into Snapchat accounts of underage victims and obtained their intimate and explicit photos. He later used these images to blackmail and sexually harass the girl.
The FIA has registered a case against him under cybercrime and child harassment laws, while further investigation is underway.
