“The Voice of Hind Rajab” Moves Audiences to Tears at Venice Film Festival

Venice( (TASSAWAR NEWS) At the prestigious Venice Film Festival, a heartbreaking film titled “The Voice of Hind Rajab” was screened, based on the final cries of a 6-year-old Palestinian girl, Hind Rajab, whose story left audiences in tears.

The film portrays the real-life tragedy of Hind, who was trapped inside a car after Israeli gunfire killed her aunt, uncle, and three cousins. Throughout the ordeal, operators from the Palestinian Red Crescent Society kept her on the phone for hours, trying to comfort her.

In the recordings featured in the film, Hind’s trembling voice can be heard pleading:

“I’m very scared, please come.”

Prior to its Venice premiere, the film received a standing ovation at its press screening, and critics predict it may be in the running for the prestigious Golden Lion Award.

Actress Saja Kalani stated:

“Hind’s story is the burden of an entire nation. The real question is – why did we force a child to beg for life? The world cannot rest in peace while even one child is crying out for survival.”

The project also gained global attention as major Hollywood stars including Brad Pitt, Joaquin Phoenix, and Rooney Mara served as executive producers.
