Mumbai (TASSAWAR NEWS) Bollywood producer Boney Kapoor has praised actor Ranbir Kapoor’s patience and professionalism, revealing that the star once gave 52 retakes for a single scene without a single complaint.
In a recent interview, Boney Kapoor shared his experience of working with Ranbir in the 2023 romantic drama “Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar”, also starring Shraddha Kapoor.
“Ranbir is the only actor I’ve seen who never complains on set. We were shooting in Delhi’s scorching summer heat for 16 hours straight, and even when schedules changed, he never lost patience,” Boney recalled.
The producer added that when he himself grew restless after 13 or 14 retakes, Ranbir motivated him by saying:
“Until the director is satisfied, we must give our best.”
According to Boney Kapoor, Ranbir completed the challenging scene with 52 retakes, maintaining complete respect for the team throughout.
Ranbir Kapoor was last seen in Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s “Animal” (2023). He is currently shooting for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s “Love & War” alongside Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal, as well as Nitesh Tiwari’s “Ramayana” with Sai Pallavi and Yash.
