ISLAMABAD (TASSAWAR NEWS) On the occasion of the 60th Defence and Martyrs Day (6th September 2025), Pakistan’s civil and military leadership paid glowing tributes to the nation’s martyrs, ghazis, and armed forces. The day was marked with solemn pride, national unity, and a renewed commitment to safeguard Pakistan’s sovereignty and independence.

President Zardari’s Message: Unshakable Faith in Pakistan’s Defence

President Asif Ali Zardari hailed September 6 as a “glorious chapter of courage and resilience” in Pakistan’s history. He honored the sacrifices of brave soldiers and citizens during the 1965 war and linked that spirit to the recent Operation “Bunyan-um-Marsoos” (May 2025), where Pakistan’s forces once again proved their unmatched bravery against external threats.

The President emphasized the importance of modern warfare readiness, including hybrid threats, disinformation, and propaganda wars, stressing that Pakistan’s defence is “impregnable” due to the unmatched spirit of its people and its military’s professionalism across land, air, and sea.

He also reiterated Pakistan’s principled stance on Kashmir and Palestine, condemning Indian atrocities in IIOJK and Israeli aggression in Gaza. Zardari reaffirmed support for a free Palestine with Al-Quds Al-Sharif as its capital.

“The spirit of September will forever echo in our armed forces’ bravery and the resilience of our nation. Pakistan’s defence shall remain unbreakable. Pakistan Zindabad!” – President Zardari
