Actress Arifa Siddiqui’s Home Severely Damaged as Floods Ravage Lahore Housing Society

LAHORE (TASSAWAR NEWS) – Torrential floods in Lahore have caused widespread destruction, and among those affected is renowned Pakistani actress and singer Arifa Siddiqui, whose residence was inundated after the River Ravi overflowed its banks.

A video shared by the actress, now circulating widely on social media, shows water rushing through her home in a private housing society near the Chuhang area. Furniture, household items, and personal belongings can be seen floating or damaged as Siddiqui and her husband attempt to clean up the mess.

The footage not only documents the devastation to her own home but also reflects the grim reality faced by countless families in the neighborhood, many of whom have seen their houses submerged and their lives severely disrupted.

Reports indicate that rising water levels from the River Ravi forced flood currents into nearby residential societies, damaging homes, vehicles, and infrastructure. Several housing schemes close to the river have been hit particularly hard, leaving residents stranded and appealing for immediate relief.

In her video, Arifa Siddiqui revealed waterlogged rooms and destroyed possessions, underscoring the scale of destruction. The viral clip has drawn public attention to the plight of both well-known figures and ordinary citizens grappling with the same crisis.

For many, the disaster has reignited concerns about flood management in urban centers, with calls for stronger preventive measures and swift government assistance.
