China’s Cooperation Will Soon Strengthen Pakistan’s Economy: PM Shehbaz Sharif

Beijing/Islamabad (TASSAWAR NEWS) Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said that China’s cooperation, expertise, and technology will soon help strengthen Pakistan’s economy, reaffirming the depth of the Pakistan–China partnership.

Speaking at the Pakistan–China Business-to-Business (B2B) Investment Conference, PM Shehbaz described the event as a reflection of the enduring friendship between the two nations.

“Pak-China friendship is deeper than the ocean, stronger than steel, and sweeter than honey. China has always stood by Pakistan in its most difficult times,” the Prime Minister noted.

Highlighting the legacy of cooperation, he recalled that Nawaz Sharif signed the landmark CPEC agreement, which enabled Pakistan to overcome its energy crisis and end load-shedding.

The Prime Minister emphasized that Pakistan is now ready to launch CPEC 2.0, marking a new phase of collaboration in agriculture, industry, IT, Artificial Intelligence, and mining. He pointed out that China has already invested over $35 billion under CPEC, bringing major projects such as the Orange Line train, dams, and industrial revival.

Shehbaz Sharif reassured Chinese investors of full security and support, declaring that Pakistan is their “second home.”

“The security of Chinese nationals is our top priority. My doors are always open to Chinese investors, and I will personally ensure solutions to their issues,” he said.

The Prime Minister praised China’s rapid development as a role model for Pakistan, adding that Special Economic Zones (SEZs) offer lucrative opportunities for Chinese businesses.
