County Championship: Babar Azam Declines Offers from Two Teams

Lahore (TASSAWAR NEWS) Pakistani cricketer Babar Azam has reportedly turned down offers from two county teams to play the remaining matches of the County Championship.

According to sources, Babar Azam was approached to feature in the competition, but he declined due to certain reasons. It is said that playing just a few matches would have exhausted his annual NOC quota for two leagues, which is why he opted not to accept the offers.

Babar Azam, however, is interested in playing the full season of other international leagues alongside the Big Bash League (BBL). Reports suggest that he is already in discussions with various franchises.

It is worth mentioning that Babar Azam, Mohammad Rizwan, and Naseem Shah have not been included in Pakistan’s announced squad for the upcoming Tri-Nation T20 Series and the Asia Cup.
