India Withholds Critical Flood Data from Pakistan: FO Raises Concerns

ISLAMABAD (TASSAWAR NEWS) Pakistan’s Foreign Office (FO) has accused India of withholding complete flood-related data, warning that New Delhi failed to follow the established communication mechanism between the two countries.

According to FO spokesperson Shafqat Ali Khan, India only once informed Pakistan through diplomatic channels about floods but did not share the full details required for effective disaster management.

“This is not the agreed procedure. India shared partial details but avoided providing the comprehensive information we need,” he said.

India’s Role in Terrorism Highlighted

The FO spokesperson also strongly criticized India for its involvement in terrorism inside Pakistan, stating that Islamabad has already shared concrete evidence with the international community and friendly nations.

“India’s role in fueling terrorism in Pakistan is well-proven. We have provided evidence and the world must take notice,” Shafqat Ali Khan stressed.

Message to Afghanistan and Germany

Speaking about Afghanistan, the spokesperson said Kabul must ensure its soil is not used against Pakistan. He urged Germany to expedite the relocation of Afghan citizens waiting to travel under humanitarian commitments.

Condemnation of Israeli Attacks

The FO also condemned the latest Israeli aggression in Khan Younis, accusing Israel of deliberately targeting hospitals, journalists, and civilians.

“Israel’s continuous human rights violations amount to war crimes,” the spokesperson said.

PM Shehbaz Sharif’s China Visit: A Diplomatic Success

The FO highlighted Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s recent visit to China as highly successful. On the invitation of the Chinese President, the PM attended the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Summit, where he held crucial meetings with global leaders.

At the summit, PM Shehbaz raised concerns about Afghanistan’s security situation and emphasized the importance of bilateral dialogue to ensure regional peace and stability.
