Khawaja Asif Dismisses Indian Air Chief’s Claims as Unrealistic and Untimely

Islamabad (Tassawar News) Pakistan’s Defence Minister Khawaja Asif has rejected the recent statements made by the Indian Air Chief, calling them both unrealistic and ill-timed. Speaking to the media, Asif emphasized that such remarks serve no constructive purpose and only add to regional tensions.

He reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to peace and stability in South Asia but warned that any aggressive rhetoric from India would be met with a strong and calculated response. The minister urged New Delhi to focus on dialogue and cooperation rather than provocative claims.

Observers note that Asif’s remarks come amid heightened tensions between the two nuclear-armed neighbors, with both sides exchanging verbal jabs over defense capabilities and strategic intentions.
