UAE (TASSAWAR NEWS) Pakistan strengthened its dominance in the Tri-Nation T20I Series with a convincing 31-run victory over the UAE at Sharjah on Saturday.
Batting first, Pakistan posted a formidable 207/8 in 20 overs. Rising star Saim Ayub dazzled with a blistering 69 off 38 balls, while Hassan Nawaz lit up the stadium with a fiery 56 off just 26 deliveries, including six massive sixes. Despite a middle-order slump, their explosive partnership propelled Pakistan past the 200 mark.
In response, the UAE showed resilience but managed only 176/8. Asif Khan fought hard with a brilliant 77-run knock, but the lack of support from the other end proved costly.
Pakistan’s bowling attack held firm, with Hassan Ali returning in style, grabbing 3/31, while Mohammad Nawaz claimed two scalps to seal the win.
The victory gave Pakistan their second straight win in the competition, keeping them firmly on track for the final.
