Palestinian Authority Demands U.S. to Issue Visas

Gaza (TASSAWAR NEWS) – The Palestinian Authority has called on the United States to grant visas, urging Washington to allow Palestinian representatives to attend the upcoming United Nations session.

President Mahmoud Abbas stated that Palestinian voices are being silenced and demanded that the U.S. restore visa issuance. The European Union has also urged Washington to reconsider its decision.

Earlier, the U.S. State Department refused to issue visas to President Mahmoud Abbas along with 80 other Palestinian representatives. The Palestinian Authority strongly condemned the move, with Abbas declaring that the U.S. decision violates international law.
