Punjab Faces Worst Flooding: Thousands of Villages Submerged, Millions Affected

LahoreTASSAWAR News) – Punjab is witnessing one of the worst flood crises in recent years as river water levels continue to rise, submerging thousands of villages and leaving millions affected.

According to reports, all three major rivers in Punjab are in severe flood, impacting more than 2 million people so far. At least 33 people have lost their lives in related incidents.

Exceptionally High Flood in River Chenab
India released water into the Chenab River without prior notice, which Pakistani officials have termed an act of “water aggression.” As a result, an exceptionally high flood has been recorded at Head Trimmu, where water flow has surged to 479,000 cusecs.
