(TASSAWAR NEWS) The United Nations has announced $600,000 in emergency assistance to help Pakistan cope with the devastating impact of recent floods. The aid will be used to provide food, clean water, medical supplies, and temporary shelter to thousands of displaced families.
Officials stated that the funding is part of the UN’s commitment to support Pakistan in addressing the humanitarian crisis triggered by heavy rains and flash floods. The assistance aims to prevent further loss of life, reduce suffering, and ensure urgent relief reaches the most vulnerable communities.
Humanitarian agencies have also appealed for additional international support as the scale of destruction continues to grow.
